Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is offering a trainee audit position within the Social Sector team. You will develop across universities, colleges, housing associations and charities, starting with hands-on client work and structured ACA study support.

No prior audit experience is required; you will gain professional qualifications while contributing to high-quality audits and advisory services, using latest technology and data analytics.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade 4/C (or equivalent qualifications).
• Achieved or predicted a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points from your top three A Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or other recognised Level3 qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support audit engagements by testing financial information and reviewing evidence.
• Analyze financial data to understand how businesses operate, identify risks and highlight key findings.
• Use audit technology, AI-powered tools and data analytics to interpret large volumes of data, identify trends, enhance insights and improve audit quality.
• Research accounting and auditing standards and help apply them to client situations in a practical way.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues, gathering information, responding to queries and contributing to meetings and reports.
• Collaborate with specialists across Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to gain a broader understanding of client challenges and solutions.
• Take on increasing responsibility as you develop, building technical expertise, managing your workload and strengthening client relationships.

Education
