Job summary

John Clark Motor Group is seeking a Trainee Accounts Assistant for an entry level role in the UK. The position focuses on accurate processing and recording of accounts and admin tasks within a professional team environment.

The ideal candidate will have Maths and English at Level 4 or above, with good IT skills in Excel and Word, and a willingness to learn and develop in a growing company. Employment is Full Time with benefits and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• National Level 4 Grade A–C in Maths and English required or expected.
• Competent IT skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Process and record all accounts and admin matters accurately.
• Analyse purchase and sales invoices, receipts and payments.
• Maintain confidential records and update daily.
• Support internal control systems and flag irregularities to management.
• Assist with delegated finance tasks as required.

Key Job Requirements for Trainee Accounts Assistant:

• Ensure accurate and complete processing and recording in all accounts and administrative matters.
• Account for and properly analyse all purchase and sales invoices plus customer and supplier receipts and payments.
• Ensure that accounting and administrative records remain confidential, are accurately maintain and updated daily.
• Take part in and help to maintain the dealership's system of internal control.
• Alert management to any concerns, internal control issues and irregularities.

Skills you will require for the Trainee Accounts Assistant role:

Your Required Experience as Trainee Accounts Administrator:
