Train Crew Passenger Service Agent – Le Shuttle (Eurotunnel)

Are you looking for a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same? Carlisle Support Services is recruiting Passenger Service Agents to work on board the trains and on site to support Le Shuttle (Eurotunnel)—a unique opportunity to work at one of the UK’s most iconic transport operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Load and unload Passenger Shuttles in line with Health & Safety procedures
  • Support vehicle and passenger movements across the site
  • Assist customers during transit with a friendly, proactive approach
  • Work both on site and on board trains
  • Deliver excellent customer service in a dynamic, safety-critical environment

Shift Information
  • Shifts last 8 hours 10 minutes
  • Varying schedule 24/7/365
  • Includes nights, weekends, and early starts
  • Own transport is required due to site location & shift times
About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a busy, customer-focused environment and take pride in delivering safe and efficient operations.

You must have:
  • Minimum age 18
  • Valid passport
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Customer Service experience (min 1 year)
It’s a bonus if you have:
  • Customer service experience within the transport or travel industry preferred but not essential
Requirements

To work in this safety-critical environment, screening is mandatory:

  • 5 years of checkable employment/education history
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • CTC (Counter Terrorism Check) and overseas police check (if applicable)
  • Current DBS check
  • Safety-critical medical
  • Original documents such as passport, driving licence, utility bill (last 3 months), HMRC letter, bank statement, payslip, or birth certificate
