Role

This is a full-time, office-based role for an experienced Trailer Freight Groupage Clerk located just outside of Leeds City Centre.

Responsibilities
  • Main responsibilities include quoting, coordinating and managing the groupage (consolidated) shipments by road, ensuring cost-efficient transport solutions, on-time delivery, and full compliance with legal, customs, and company requirements.
  • The role ensures the effective planning, consolidation, and dispatch of groupage cargo while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational control.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in road freight forwarding, preferably in groupage operations.
  • Strong knowledge of European transport networks and groupage processes.
  • Understanding of customs procedures, Incoterms, and ADR requirements.
  • Proficiency in TMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
