Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. The role involves managing traffic control sites while adhering to NHSS and Chapter 8 requirements.

Candidates should have traffic management experience, a full UK driving licence (6 points max), and the ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks. Right to Work in the UK is required, with Lantra qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Passing Drugs & Alcohol test is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Traffic Management sites are installed in compliance with NHSS.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Report near misses and communicate with Operations Managers.
• Complete nightly reports for the client.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and highway control.
• Direct crew to maintain high quality work plans.
• Read CAD Traffic Management drawings and implement Chapter 8.
• Ensure safe working practices and RAMS compliance.
• Perform risk assessments as required.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking Operatives with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• Traffic Safety Control Officer/ Traffic Safety Supervisor(TSCO/TSS)

Duties may include:

• Ensuring Traffic Management sites are installed in compliance with NHSS.
• Deliver site daily briefings.
• Have a competent understating and implementation of ‘Raising The Bar’ document.
• Reporting near misses and anything necessary to Operation Managers.
• Complete nightly reports on behalf of the client.
• Liaising directly with clients, local authorities and highway control.
• Directly manage your crew to ensure your teammates meet and maintain high quality work plans.
• Read, review and interpret CAD Traffic Management drawings.
• Ensure Traffic Management and operations is in accordance with Chapter 8.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality of operations.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements.
• Complete Risk Assessments.
