Job summary

Panda is seeking a Traffic Planner to join the busy Collections team at our depot. You will plan routes, manage workloads, support drivers and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You’ll collaborate with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep collections moving, resolve issues quickly and maintain service standards. This is a pivotal role during growth, contributing to efficient transport planning and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in route planning or transport operations.
• Ability to coordinate logistics and driver workloads.
• Strong communication with drivers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate efficient daily routes for containers, lifts, exchanges and collections.
• Monitor driver workloads and hours ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Communicate instructions and updates to drivers throughout the day.
• Carry out end-of-shift debriefs with drivers and resolve service issues promptly.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to confirm bookings and provide ETAs.
