Job summary

Search Consultancy is recruiting a Traffic Marshall / Labourer for a civils project on the Isle of Wight, Ventnor. Start date: 07/09/26. You will coordinate plant operators and site traffic, ensuring safe, efficient operations and a tidy site.

You will also carry out general labouring duties, assist with deliveries, and uphold high HSE standards while wearing orange PPE. A CSCS card and a Traffic Marshall/Banksman qualification are required, with references from prior roles.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• Traffic Marshall/Banksman qualification or equivalent is required.
• Full orange PPE provided and to be worn at all times.
• Good verbal communication skills are essential.
• Provide references from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant operators and site traffic to keep movement safe and efficient.
• Ensure safe and orderly movement of people and plant on site.
• Perform general civil site labouring duties and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environment (HSE) on site.

ROLE TRAFFIC MARSHALL / LABOURER

LOCATION VENTNOR, ISLE OF WIGHT PO38

START 07/09/26

RATE £170 PER DAY

We require experienced Traffic Marshalls for a civils project on the Isle of Wight. As Traffic Marshall you will be responsible for coordinating plant operators, site traffic and ensuring that all movement of people and plant is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will be required to undertake general civil site labouring duties, ensuring a safe and tidy site at all times, assisting with deliveries etc. You will have a clear commitment to maintaining and policing high HSE standards.

You will need:

• A valid CSCS Card
• A recognised Traffic Marshall / Banksman card or qualification
• Full PPE - Orange
• Good verbal communication skills
• To provide references from previous employment
