Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Traffic Marshal for a Worthing housing development. You will support the site team by managing vehicle movement and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Key tasks include directing deliveries, keeping access routes clear, and securing barriers and fencing on site. Previous experience is welcomed but not essential, and CSCS and Traffic Marshal qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• CSCS card (current and valid).
• Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist site management; ensure parking compliance with site safety policy.
• Control traffic flow for deliveries entering the site.
• Secure barrier protection and fencing around the site.
• Note: no welfare responsibilities in this role.

• Pay rate: £16-17 per hour.

A well-established regional developer in the housing sector focused on high-volume new building housing.

The role:

As the Traffic Marshal for the development, you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager.
• Ensuring contractors are parking as per the site safety policy.
• Controlling flow of traffic when deliveries enter the site.
• Securing barrier protection around the site and making sure the fencing is secure.
• Please note there is no welfare responsibilities involved in this role.

About you:

• Some previous experience is preferred but not essential.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman qualification.
