Job summary

JDR Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our client for Traffic Management Operatives to join their team in Oxford and the surrounding areas. Location is Oxford & surrounding areas with 8-12 hour shifts, and a permanent/full-time position.

You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and removing traffic management systems to ensure a safe environment for road users, pedestrians and site workers across various sites in Oxford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Lantra M1, M2 and M5 qualifications preferred.
• Previous traffic management experience required.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and removing traffic management systems.
• Installing signs, cones, barriers and other traffic management equipment.
• Maintaining safe working areas around roadworks.
• Conducting regular site checks.
• Following traffic management plans and safety procedures.
• Working safely around live traffic.
• Supporting the wider site team.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety.

The Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Traffic Management Operatives to join our client on a permanent basis, working on a range of sites across Oxford and the surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and removing traffic management systems while ensuring a safe environment for road users, pedestrians and site workers.

Requirements

• Previous traffic management experience required
• Lantra M1, M2 and M5 qualifications preferred

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Safety-conscious with a professional attitude
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexible with working hours
• Willing to work evenings, nights and weekends when required
