Job summary

VTM Highway Services is seeking Trainee Operatives and experienced 12AB Traffic Management Operatives to join our Worcestershire-based team, with projects across the UK. You will help set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic-management layouts such as signs, cones, barriers, lane closures, road closures, and diversions.

Responsibilities include installing and removing layouts safely, following RAMS and site instructions, and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• Must hold Lantra-approved qualifications, ideally including NHSS 12AB General Operative.
• Trainee applicants welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Right to work in the UK; full UK driving licence; pass drug and alcohol screening; able to work outdoors; flexible shifts and travel.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove traffic-management layouts safely.
• Follow traffic-management plans, RAMS and site instructions.
• Report hazards, defects, incidents and near misses.
• Keep sites safe, tidy and compliant.
