Job summary

A leading environmental services company in Brighton is seeking an employee to manage vehicle access, maintain cleanliness, and conduct inspections. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Control vehicle access to the site and direct drivers.
  • Support the MRF and WTS teams.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Tipping Halls and external areas.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and fire watches.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Safely controlling Veolia, third-party waste collection authority and commercial vehicles access into and out of both Tipping Hall areas on Site
  • Issue instructions to drivers of vehicles entering and leaving site/tipping halls
  • Provide support to the leadership team, Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) team and Waste Transfer Station (WTS) team
  • Housekeeping and light maintenance (cleaning, litter picking, painting, etc.) of the Tipping Halls and external areas of the site
  • Provide cover during breaks to assist the site operations, particularly in Traffic Control, Weighbridge and Mobile Plant roles (subject to training provided)
  • Completing daily site inspections and reporting defects/issues as required
  • Completing the daily site fire watch before the site closes each day

AM x 4, Rest Day x 2, PM x 4, Rest Day x 2. Shift Pattern 06:15‑14:45 / PM 13:30‑22:00
