Traffic and Street Works Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven Traffic and Street Works Manager to join a leading council in the Home Counties on a contract basis. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for managing traffic flows, coordinating highway works, and maintaining transport assets in line with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA), and the Council's Transport Plan. You will act as the Council's designated Traffic Manager, providing strategic direction to ensure the roads network operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing team, influence transport policy, and play a key role in shaping the future of the county's highways network.
