Job summary

ADM is offering a 12-month Trading & Commercial Intern opportunity from summer 2027 to summer 2028. The role will place you in the trading department with exposure to market trends, strategies, and trade execution, supported by a dedicated team across Erith, London, or Lincolnshire.

You will analyze market data, assist in reports, and contribute to the development of trading strategies while completing meaningful projects and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis of market trends, pricing, and trading strategies.
• Support the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly market reports.
• Participate in the execution of trades, including order entry and trade reconciliation.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement trading strategies.

• Participate in team meetings, providing insights based on data analysis.
• Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by trading and commercial teams.

Trading & Commercial Intern

Opportunities are now available for Trading and Commercial Interns. This would be a 12 month internship opportunity (from summer 2027 to summer 2028) to work within the trading department where you will get exposure market trends and strategies along with the opportunity to participate in the execution of trades with the support of a friendly and dedicated team. Opportunities are likely to be in Erith (Kent), London or Lincolnshire.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis of market trends, pricing, and trading strategies.
• Support the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly market reports.
• Participate in the execution of trades, including order entry and trade reconciliation.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement trading strategies.

• Participate in team meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master degree program in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field and looking to undertake a year out of your studies in a business environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS suite, particularly excel, experience with data analysis tools is a benefit.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team..
• A keen interest in the trading and commercial aspects of the industry.
• Ability to multi task and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment.
