Job summary

Sainsbury's Kirkcaldy store is seeking a Part-time Retail Assistant to join our overnight shift pattern. You will replenish stock, assist customers, check dates on fresh produce, and support deliveries as needed across the store.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will build product knowledge, promote promotions, and ensure shelves are tidy and well-displayed. Night shifts carry a premium and flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: minimum age 18 due to hours and goods handling (alcohol, etc).
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish store items, keeping shelves clean and well-presented.
• Always ready to serve customers and proactively offer help; answer questions during store hours.
• Date check fresh produce and grocery products.
• Help across the store and support with deliveries as required.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
