As a Trading Assistant, you’ll be a Christmas Champion ensuring our stores are set up brilliantly to meet what customers expect from Sainsbury’s.

Eligibility
  • The minimum application age is 18, due to the working hours and the type of goods (e.g., alcohol) you may be required to handle.
  • You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
What you’ll be doing
  • Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping shelves clean, tidy and well presented.
  • Always ready to serve customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help.
  • Checking dates on fresh produce and grocery products.
  • Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries.
  • Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
