Job summary

Sainsbury’s Trading Assistant role based in the UK offers a fast-paced, physical environment where you’ll restock shelves, move stock with cages up to 15kg, welcome customers, and help with deliveries. You’ll rapidly learn product locations and promotions to provide confident recommendations.

You’ll work across the store, enjoy night shifts with a premium where applicable, gain access to a 10% discount after four weeks, free food and drinks, generous holiday entitlement, pension contributions,

Job description

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping our shelves clean, tidy and full of well-presented products
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
