As a Trading Assistant, you’ll help ensure our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.

Eligibility

You must be above the school‑leaver age in your country. You must have the right to work in the UK. If the shifts cover hours earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm, you must be at least 18 years old.

What you’ll be doing
  • Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish items across the store, keeping shelves tidy and well‑presented.
  • Always ready to serve customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help.
  • Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
  • Checking dates on fresh produce and grocery products.
  • Helping across the store as needed and supporting deliveries as required.
