Job summary

Currys plc, through its iD Mobile Acquisitions team, is seeking a commercially minded Trading Analyst in London. The role combines pricing, promotions and trading activity across Currys, Carphone Warehouse and idmobile.co.uk.

You will work with the SIMO Trading Manager to drive customer acquisition and profitability. You’ll analyse performance data, generate insights and collaborate with BI, Marketing and Operations to deliver growth targets while maintaining pricing accuracy and market

Qualifications

• Commercial trading or analytical experience in retail, telecoms, ecommerce.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills to turn data into insights and recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and reporting experience.
• Experience with SQL/Power BI or similar data tools is advantageous.
• Understanding pricing, promotions and how trading decisions affect profitability.

Responsibilities

• Support management and optimisation of the SIMO tariff portfolio, including pricing and trading performance analysis.
• Produce and analyse daily and weekly sales reports, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across channels and product categories.
• Collaborate with BI teams to develop and automate reporting solutions.
• Support performance of Currys and Carphone Warehouse channels to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with Digital and Affiliate teams to understand performance drivers and maximize acquisition opportunities.
• Work with Marketing, Go To Market and Operations to deliver acquisition and profitability targets.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and challenge commercial assumptions to support profitable decisions.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing pricing and promotional recommendations.
