To work as part of a managed team. Work to be of both complex and non-complex nature, responsible for minor repairs and routine planned preventative maintenance activities, as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures, and taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment.
Work as a team and also independently on mechanical systems where appropriate to do so, for routine fault finding, testing, replacing, isolation, modifying, inspecting, improving, installing, maintaining, and repairing of most mechanical systems with the exception of medical gas pipeline systems, gas boilers, steam boilers, and steam and condensate systems.
Work with other team members in carrying out routine fault finding, testing, replacing, isolation, modifying, inspecting, improving, installing, maintaining, and repairing and other Tradespersons who are undertaking mechanical/electrical installations
Undertake minor non-complex installations as directed by Team leader/Estate officer/ and Senior Estate manager.
Actively participate the operation of the Trusts labour control scheme by working within the scheme including completion of all paperwork required of the scheme. (Including completion of all job dockets and timesheets).
