Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Fresh Produce Trader to join their wholesale fruit trading team. You will manage relationships with customers and suppliers, support day-to-day trading activity and help maximise sales and profitability in the fruit category.

Hybrid role with a mix of office and home days, offering career development within a supportive commercial team and a discretionary bonus potential. Salary £40–£60k depending on experience.

We're looking for a commercially minded professional with wholesale fresh produce experience, ideally with a strong background in fruit, to join a successful and growing fresh produce business as a Trader.

If you've worked within the fresh produce supply chain, understand the fast-paced nature of wholesale trading, and have experience managing customer and supplier relationships, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your trading career.

The Role

As a Trader, you'll play a key role in managing customer and supplier relationships, supporting day-to-day trading activity, and helping to maximise sales and profitability across the fruit category.

You’ll work closely with growers, suppliers and customers while collaborating with Procurement, Sales, Operations, Technical and Logistics to ensure products are delivered efficiently and commercially.

Working Pattern

Hybrid working - office-based Tuesday to Thursday, home-based Monday and Friday.
