Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Bournemouth seeks a Trade Support Analyst in Commodities Operations to support the end-to-end physical settlement lifecycle across metals and energy. You will help deliver reliable settlement outcomes for clients and trading partners, across precious and base metals and energy products.

You will collaborate with trading, sales, credit, legal, technology and operations teams to strengthen controls, manage risk and drive process improvements that enhance client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate physical settlement activities for metals and energy transactions.
• Coordinate with depositories, vendors, and clients to ensure timely settlement outcomes.
• Monitor and manage custody balances and related exposure at third-party depositories.
• Perform daily controls, reconciliations, and exception management to mitigate risk.
• Process and validate incoming and outgoing invoices for custody and settlement services.
• Maintain accurate account setup, static data, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate breaks, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with trading, sales, credit, legal, technology, and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Track deliverables to meet tight cutoffs, deadlines, and service level expectations.

Join a fast-paced Commodities Operations team supporting a global commodities platform across physical and financial products. You will help deliver reliable settlement outcomes for clients and trading partners across precious metals, base metals, and energy. This role offers high visibility through daily partnership with trading, sales, credit, legal, technology, and operations stakeholders. You will contribute to control discipline, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

You partner with internal stakeholders and external depositories and vendors to ensure accurate positions, balances, invoicing, and documentation. You help manage operational risk by delivering reconciliations, resolving exceptions, and supporting change initiatives that improve efficiency and client outcomes.
