Job summary

Focus Vehicle Management Ltd is seeking self-employed Trade Plate Drivers to join our driver team. You will collect and deliver new and used vehicles nationwide in a timely and professional manner, working on flexible assignments across the UK.

Between assignments you will travel to your next collection point by public transport, with full reimbursement of costs. Training is provided and DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with at least 5 years and max 6 points.
• Aged 25 or over due to insurance requirements.
• Smart, reliable and customer-focused.
• Smartphone in good working condition and up-to-date.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and public transport.
• Willing to complete a DBS check.
• Good physical fitness required for walking and transit between assignments.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver new and used vehicles nationwide in a timely, professional manner.
• Travel to next collection point using public transport; costs reimbursed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and handle situations with a positive attitude.

Job description

Focus Vehicle Management Ltd is currently seeking self-employed Trade Plate Drivers to join their existing driver team. You will be responsible for collecting and delivering new and used vehicles nationwide in a timely and professional manner.

Between assignments, you will travel to your next collection point using public transport, which will be shown in the daily plan we send you, the cost of which will be fully reimbursed.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. You will be smartly presented, hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and someone who can handle all situations with a smile.

Candidate requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (must be held for at least 5 years with maximum of 6 points). No IN,DD,DG,DR,CD,MR,TT endorsements.
• Aged 25 and over to meet insurance requirements.
• Smartly presented, confident, a problem solver who can deliver excellent customer service.
• An Android 8.0/iPhone i0S16 (iPhone 9 or above) or newer smartphone in good working condition and still supported with security updates etc.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Good geographical knowledge of UK roads and UK public transport systems.
• Safe off-road parking.
• Be willing to complete a free DBS check.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves regular walking and the use of public transport between assignments.
