Overview

We’re working on behalf of a leading brand to find a commercially minded Trade Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing strategy and execution across multi-site merchants and independent retailers. This role would be a good match for someone who has already gained some experience as Channel Marketing Manager or Retail Marketing Manager as well as for an ambitious Senior Trade Marketing Executive looking for the next step up in their career.

What you’ll be doing

As Trade Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for top retail accounts. You’ll manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring ROI through targeted campaigns and promotional initiatives. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll support new account openings and client development with bespoke marketing approaches. You’ll lead collaborations with third-party partners, sponsorships and events to boost brand awareness and sales. From briefing promotional materials to overseeing POS displays and stand content, you’ll ensure the brand is represented consistently and effectively across all channels.

You’ll also be involved in post-event reporting, incentive scheme support, and hosting preview events and insight meetings. This role requires regular travel to showrooms and a flexible approach to working across office and remote settings.
