Title: Trade Mark Paralegal

Location: Manchester

The Position

The Trade Mark Paralegal at HGF plays a vital role in supporting trade mark operations across the firm, ensuring the legal formalities of clients’ trade marks and designs are managed with precision. The position requires close collaboration with attorneys and support colleagues, handling filings, deadlines, and communications to maintain and protect intellectual property rights internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • End to end oversight of trade mark filings to ensure our clients IP rights are maintained
  • Delegate general reports and various admin duties to the Trade Mark Formalities Assistant and Administrators
  • Liaise with attorneys and foreign agents to progress assigned actions within required timescales.
  • Monitor the status of trade marks and designs, maintaining contact with local counsel and clients.
About You

If you are CITMA qualified and have at least 2 years experience in a trade mark formalities or paralegal position we’d love to hear from you. Being able to work to deadlines and prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy will be key attributes to succeeding in the role.
