Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 D.O.E
Hours: Full-time, 67.5 hours per fortnight (on an alternating pattern of 37.5 hours per week and 30 hours the next week)

Responsibilities
  • Contacting our existing customer base to generate new sales leads
  • Identify new target clients and revenue opportunities and manage their requests, providing excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain successful business relationships with clients on the telephone and email to build loyalty and increase repeat business
  • Researching and identifying potential new customers
  • Obtaining feedback from our customers to establish any gaps in our product range
  • Help promote the company through a positive attitude and engaging with the customers
  • Liaising with suppliers, as required, to fulfil customer orders
  • To manage orders from point of quote, order processing and to deal with customer service in a fast efficient manner
  • Be reactive and well organised with demonstrable ability to prioritise and effectively complete multiple tasks
  • Up-selling products to existing customers, including key products and special offers
  • Entering notes into a database, including dates for follow up calls
  • Develop and retain product knowledge by attending supplier training events
  • Working collaboratively by sharing ideas, knowledge and resources
  • Responsible for engaging with new suppliers
  • Undertake any further relevant research, development or training as required
  • As and when, there will be a requirement for you to support other members of team, with tasks that may not be directly related to your day to day responsibilities. You will be expected to manage these within your workload.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
  • Good telephone manner
  • Experience of similar customer service role
  • Computer literate with a high standard of written and spoken English
  • Ability to absorb new information quickly
