Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Tractor Driver for Sizewell C to operate tractors, assist with site logistics, and support groundworks on a major infrastructure project. The role requires safety-focused operation and the ability to work with a team across multiple site disciplines.

Candidates should have proven tractor driving experience on construction sites and hold CPCS/NPORS/CSCS credentials. Right to work in the UK is required and training will be provided for site-specific procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven tractor driver experience on construction or agricultural sites.
• Valid CPCS, NPORS or equivalent qualification for tractor operations.
• CSCS card required.

• Transport soil, aggregates, materials, and equipment around the site as directed.
• Support groundworks, haulage, and muck-shifting operations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Adhere to site safety rules, traffic management plans and environmental standards.
• Work with groundworkers, plant operators, and site managers for smooth operations.
• Assist with general labouring duties as required.

Main Duties:

• The successful candidate will operate tractors and related plant machinery to support the movement of materials, site preparation, and day-to-day logistics across this major infrastructure project.
• Safely operate tractors and associated attachments (trailers, loaders, etc.) within the construction site.
• Transport soil, aggregates, materials, and equipment around the site as directed.
• Support groundworks, haulage, and muck-shifting operations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, routine maintenance, and report defects promptly.
• Adhere to all site safety rules, traffic management plans, and environmental standards.
• Work alongside groundworkers, plant operators, and site managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with general labouring duties when required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tractor Driver on construction or agricultural sites.
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices on busy construction sites.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to undertake additional site duties as required.
• Valid CPCS, NPORS or equivalent qualification for tractor operations.
• CSCS card required.
