Orka Financial is partnering with a growing Reading-based business that is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely management accounts and financial reporting.
• Analyse financial performance and profitability to support business decision‑making.
• Manage month‑end and period‑end close processes, including postings and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with indirect tax and other relevant financial reporting requirements.
• Assist with revenue‑related reporting and stakeholder information needs.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support operational and commercial activities.

Requirements

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in management accounting, ideally in a fast‑paced, creative or SME environment.
• Strong technical accounting skills and hands‑on experience with accounting software (Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics NAV desirable) and Excel.
• A passion for music and the entertainment industry‑a genuine interest in how the business works behind the scenes.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
