Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality planning consultancy services to clients, ensuring compliance with RTPI standards and internal best practices.
  • Manage project timelines effectively, consulting with senior staff as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and cross‑selling services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our UK offices to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Travel across the UK for site visits and client meetings, contributing to projects of varying scales and sectors.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance client value and generate new revenue streams.
Qualifications
  • MRICS qualification or over 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of English and Scottish planning systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to confidently advise clients and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Exceptional organisational and time‑management abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • RTPI or RICS membership, or a relevant qualification.
  • A valid UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one).
