Qualifications

• Proven experience operating tower cranes on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of safe lifting operations and lifting plans.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to health and safety.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project requirements.
• Reliable, responsible and safety focused.
• Willingness to support continuous improvement and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate tower cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with lifting plans, site procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Carry out pre-use checks and routine inspections of crane equipment.
• Lift, move and position loads safely and accurately as directed by authorised personnel.
• Maintain effective communication with Slinger Signallers, Appointed Persons and site management.
• Ensure all lifting operations are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Report defects, incidents and safety concerns promptly.
• Complete daily records and operational documentation as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety around the crane and work area.
