Job summary

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd is seeking a Land / Topographical Surveyor with a good qualification and 3–5 years of experience to support timely project delivery in line with contract programmes.

The role focuses on accurate data collection on site using Trimble, GPS and Total Stations, followed by processing data for 3D modelling, maps and client reports, while maintaining health and safety standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified Land Surveyor / Topographical Surveyor with 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience delivering projects in line with contract programmes
• Proficient in surveying equipment and software relevant to the role (e.g., Trimble, Total Stations, GPS; AutoCAD 3D; N4CE)

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted on site
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, lines, and other terrain characteristics to produce accurate volumetric information
• Prepare and process data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
• Take measurements and survey data to determine positions and elevations
• Process data from site surveys for modelling and client reports
• Carry out surveys and as-builts using complex equipment (Trimble, Total Stations, GPS)
• Support various sites, teams and managers in the successful delivery of projects
• Demonstrate literacy with industry software (e.g., AutoCAD 3D and N4CE)
