Job summary

MTrec Limited are recruiting an experienced Toolroom Technician to join their toolroom team. You will work on progression tooling, jig and fixture design, and support internal and subcontract projects in a busy engineering environment.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on toolroom experience, competence in milling, turning and grinding, and a time-served engineering qualification. The role is on-site with a competitive pay rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Hands-on toolroom experience in a manufacturing environment.
Milling, turning and grinding proficiency.
Progression tooling concept, build, service and repair.
H&S legislation compliance.
ISO 9001 quality awareness.
Time-served toolmaker with recognised engineering qualification.
Good computer literacy and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Part of the toolroom department to fulfil its role as a support function to the works.
Handle internal project and subcontract work activities.
Responsible for progression tooling — concept, build, service and repair.
