Toolroom Team Leader

Location: Worcester

Salary: Up to £37,635.00 (DOE) - Plus 16% PM Shift Allowance £3010.80 - Plus Attendance Allowance

Orion is working with a leading heavy industrial manufacturing company seeking an experienced Toolroom Team Leader to provide technical expertise, leadership, and support within their busy toolroom.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong machining knowledge who thrives on problem-solving, motivating a team, and ensuring production efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Toolmakers
  • Maintain CNC and die casting machinery (or similar industrial equipment)
  • Provide support to production, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Drive continuous improvement in tooling and fixtures
  • Fault-find and resolve issues in compact machinery
  • Collaborate with senior management on toolroom operations
Required Experience
  • Manual machining: turning, milling, grinding, bench fitting
  • Previous toolroom experience within manufacturing
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Package
