Job summary

SaaS Recman AB is seeking an experienced Toolpusher to oversee drilling operations on an anchored/DP vessel. You will supervise night and day shifts, ensure compliance with the Drilling Programme and safety standards, and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain smooth operation.

The role requires a current IWCF Level 4 Well Control certificate and prior Toolpusher experience on an anchored or DP vessel, with responsibility for maintenance records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Current Level 4 IWCF well control certificate.
• Previous experience as Toolpusher on Anchored/DP Vessel.

Responsibilities

• Control all Drilling Operations and related activities during your shift, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Responsible for drilling operations such as drilling, reaming, coring, fishing, running casing, tubing, cementing.
• Ensure operations follow Operator’s Instructions, Drilling Programme, and company procedures (SMS).
• Report deviations to the Senior Toolpusher and assist subcontractors to maintain cooperation.
• Oversee Planned Maintenance System execution within the Drilling Department and log maintenance in Maximo.
• Manage and monitor the Planned Maintenance System within the Drilling Department.
• Ensure maintenance on drilling equipment is entered into Maximo.
• Maintain accurate tubular inventory.
• Prepare Drilling Reports.
• Check instructions and calculations; challenge when necessary.
• Provide cover for the Driller as required.
• Supervise running/retrieving of subsea equipment.
• Advise the Senior Toolpusher of any downtime.
• Ensure drillers are familiar with space-out and shut-in procedures.
• Check kick sheets and monitor trip sheets.
• Allocate tasks to Driller with adequate supervision.
• Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with SMS.
• Comply with SECT process as barrier owner and verifier.
• Identify and address policy violations.
• Highlight violations to HoD/Master-OIM.
• Comply with Management of Change Principle.
• Participate in accident/incident investigations.
• Any other duties as required by Senior Toolpusher

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Control all Drilling Operations and other interrelated activities being performed during their shift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Responsible for all the essential drilling operations, such as drilling, reaming, coring, fishing, running casing, tubing, cementing.
• Ensure the drilling operations are carried out as defined in the approved Operator’s Instructions and Drilling Programme, and the operation is executed in accordance with Stena’s Drilling Operation Manual and RSWMs and where applicable any agreements made in the Bridging Document.
• Report directly to the Senior Toolpusher any deviations from approved Operator’s Instructions or Drilling Programme.
• Helps all subcontractor companies to run their jobs and maintain a good cooperation.
• Manage and monitor the execution of the Planned Maintenance System within the Drilling Department.
• Ensuring that all maintenance carried out on drilling equipment has been entered into the Maximo system.
• Maintain an accurate tubular inventory.
• Prepare Drilling Reports.
• Check instructions, programmes and calculations supplied by Operator and challenge them where necessary.
• Provide cover for the Driller as required.
• Supervise the running and retrieving of all subsea equipment.
• Advise the Senior Toolpusher of any impending downtime.
• Ensure Drillers are familiar with space-out and shut-in procedure.
• Check the accuracy of kick sheets and monitor trip sheets.
• Allocate tasks to Driller and provide adequate supervision in order to ensure that all such tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
• Responsible and accountable for the safety of the personnel working under their direction and shall be expected to conduct operations at all times in full compliance with company procedures (SMS).
• Comply with SECT process as barrier owner and barrier verifier.
• Identify and address any violations of procedures concerning personnel under their direction.
• Continuous or repeated violations of policies or procedures should be highlighted and brought to the attention of the HoD/Master-OIM.
• Comply with the Management of Change Principle.
• Actively participate in accident/incident investigations when required.
• Any other duties as required by Senior Toolpusher
