Qualifications

  • A mechanical engineering qualification, toolmaker apprenticeship, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience of working on injection mould tools.
  • Competence in the use of manual and standard toolroom equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, service, repair and modify injection mould tools of up to 2.0 tons in weight.
  • Methodical dismantling of injection mould tools.
  • Assess customer tools and components, investigating repair or modification options.

Skills

Knowledge and experience of working on injection mould tools
Competence in the use of manual and standard toolroom equipment
Ability to read and understand drawings and models

Education

Mechanical engineering qualification or toolmaker apprenticeship
