Recruit4staff is representing a leading precision engineering business in their search for a Toolmaker to work in Deeside.

  • Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7:30-16:30, Friday 7:30-12:30
  • Duration: Permanent

Job Details:

  • Pay: £32,400 - £40,560 DOE
  • Benefits: Standard pension, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Job Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building tools, jigs, dies, and moulds; repairing existing equipment; operating manual lathes and grinders; using CAD/CAM software; and interpreting complex engineering drawings to manufacture bespoke parts. Day-to-day duties include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, setting up CNC machines, machining components, inspecting finished products, maintaining tools, and collaborating on technical documentation.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Proven toolmaking experience
  • Experience working for a precision engineering company
  • Apprentice-trained Toolmaker or similar qualification

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • CNC programming experience
  • CAD/CAM experience

Additional Information: Overtime required – paid at time and a half
