Toolmaker (Permanent Position)

Location: Middlesex

Term: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE

We are looking for a Toolmaker on a permanent basis in the Middlesex area with experience in manufacture of Injection Mould tools. The main duties will be to repair, modify and maintain existing production tooling.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Experienced or apprentice time served
• Comfortable with EDM techniques
• Read Technical Engineering drawings
• Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
• Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
• Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Repairing, modifying & maintaining existing production tooling
• Operate all tooling & equipment safely
• Use of milling machines, lathes & grinders
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness
• Producing work with high quality surface finish
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ensure correct labelling of tools
• Good housekeeping to 5S standards
• Log completed tool maintenance and repair to databases
