A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a skilled individual to manufacture and repair tooling, dies, and inspection fixtures. The role involves calibrating specialized tooling and performing maintenance tasks across various equipment. Ideal candidates will possess an NVQ level 3 or equivalent and have experience with machine tools. This position emphasizes safety and operational reliability, providing a platform for a fulfilling career in engineering.
You will be responsible for manufacturing and repairing a variety of tooling, dies, machining and inspection fixtures. You will be responsible for maintaining the fixtures onsite adhering to fixture care plans, and calibrating special product tooling using both first principles and CMM's. Located in production or assembly and test facilities, perform a range of routine, reactive, maintenance on dies and fixtures across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment across a plant, site or business, to ensure that manufacturing equipment is safe, available and capable for use when required.
