Job Overview

Genesis is looking for an experienced toolmaker to join one of our clients based in Atherstone CV9.

The client is a metal pressing company that supplies into the automotive industry.

The role will involve maintaining tandem press dies that run in 26 single action presses ranging from 200 to 1200 tonnes, plus two progression presses (Apply online only).

Responsibilities

• Ongoing refurbishment and repair to tandem and progression dies.
• Welding and grinding back of die sections.
• Punch repair/replacement.
• Tool related fault finding.

Qualifications

• Skilled and qualified toolmaker familiar with lates, drillers, millers, grinders, wire eroding, and gas welding.

Working Hours & Compensation

Hours: Monday to Friday AM shift (6am‑2pm or 8am‑4pm, etc.).

Pay: £19.00 per hour.

Type: Temp to Perm.
