Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales role ideally gained within ultrasound and radiology.
  • Confidence in working with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize order intake, sales, and price realization at assigned accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain annual account plans.
  • Analyze win/loss deals and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to local marketing strategies.
  • Ensure timely completion of quotations.
  • Report customer feedback and complete quality training.
  • Support assigned accounts during handover.
  • Work with internal resources to achieve objectives.
Job description

The purpose of this exciting new Cardiac Ultrasound Account Manager role is to build credible relationships with customers and deliver effective positive change. As Account Manager for Cardiac Ultrasound, you will be responsible for maximizing order intake, sales, price realization and customer satisfaction while developing and optimizing customer relationships to ensure long‑term profitability in the defined accounts. This role is remote‑based and will cover the North East of England with a location preference in the vicinity of Leeds, Halifax or Sheffield. Regular travel will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for maximizing order intake, sales (incl. POS Service Contracts) and price realization at the assigned accounts within the district
  • Ensure continuity of the relationship with the account and operate at multiple levels within the accounts’ structure
  • Prepare and maintain annual account plans in line with the regional strategy, AOP and execute commitment at district and modality level
  • Responsible for ongoing completion of the funnel management tool (SF.com) and systematically analysing win / loss deals, expectations, customer satisfaction (NPS), market and competition trends
  • Responsible for the sales forecast across the assigned accounts and driving accuracy and predictability
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies
  • Coordinate all internal necessary resources to obtain objectives and where necessary involve others
  • Ensure quotations are completed and delivered within time limits
  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner
  • If and when required, provide dedicated support to assigned accounts to ensure timely handover of the signed customer acceptance document and support collection of accounts receivable (AR)
  • Report to the Sales Manager – Ultrasound
  • Part of a large team of Cardiac Ultrasound Account Managers
  • Work with a team of Key Account Managers and Applications Specialists across the territory and have a dotted line into the District General Manager
Qualifications
  • Degree level education (clinical subjects, physiology, engineering or other sciences) or equivalent
  • Experience in a sales role ideally gained within ultrasound and radiology
  • Will also consider someone with a clinical ultrasound background looking to move into sales
  • Confidence in working with C‑suite stakeholders
  • Full driving licence
Additional Requirements
  • Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required
