Qualifications

  • Experience producing designs for timber frame buildings (advantageous but not essential).
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations (preferred, training available).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office for documentation and coordination.
  • Can work collaboratively across teams including operations, sales, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Experience with Revit or 3D visualisation would be beneficial.

Are you an experienced Timber Frame Designer with strong AutoCAD skills? Would you like to work for a growing business that genuinely values collaboration, quality design, and long‑term career development? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, producing high‑quality designs for both domestic and commercial timber frame buildings. You will play a key role in delivering accurate, buildable designs that meet contract specifications, quality standards, and cost targets.

You will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to design floor, wall, and roof panels, enabling efficient factory manufacture using modern methods of construction. You will also have the opportunity to support the sales process, assisting with detailed customer enquiries, layouts, and visualisations to support accurate project costing.
