Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Abingdon is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their established manufacturing operation. You will produce high-quality welds on engineered metal products, reading drawings and ensuring components meet exact specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in TIG welding within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Knowledge of welding procedures and quality standards.
• Reliable, team-focused and able to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG welding on metal components and fabricated assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare materials and components for welding.
• Maintain high weld quality, accuracy and finish.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across manufacturing and fabrication teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
