Job Description
Fabricator / Welder – Permanent Role

Location: Tamworth
Salary: £16.00 per hour + benefits
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7.00 am – 3.30 pm
Friday: 7.00 am – 2.00 pm

The Role

As a Fabricator / Welder, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Fabricating and welding steel, aluminium, and stainless components.
  • TIG welding (stainless pipework essential; aluminium an advantage).
  • Preparing and finishing materials before welding (cutting, marking, cleaning, deburring).
  • Reading engineering drawings to create accurate cutting and bolt lists.
  • Carrying out quality checks and signing off completed work.
  • Operating CNC machinery, press brake, and guillotine.
  • Loading/unloading deliveries and maintaining a clean, safe workshop.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by suggesting process/machine efficiency's.
About You
  • Minimum 3 years’ TIG welding experience.
  • CNC experience plus sheet metal and machine maintenance background.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Forklift licence would be a bonus, but not essential.
