Frontgrade Technologies is seeking a Welder II to join its highly skilled manufacturing team in Exeter. You will operate welding machines, read blueprints, and set up equipment to fabricate or repair aluminum components in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Experience in manufacturing, technology, or aerospace and defense with the ability to set up welding machine for aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Perform layout, cutting and welding work as required.
• Complete welding of components according to procedures.
• Arrange parts for welding and staging processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Set up welding machines based on specifications of the job.
• Use specialized gas metal arc welding techniques and equipment to join pieces of metal together.
• Work from specifications, drawings, prints, and welding symbols.
