Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on precision components and assemblies.
• Fabricate bespoke parts from engineering drawings and specs.

• Assemble, tack, weld, and finish components to exacting standards.
• Use workshop machinery, hand tools and fabrication equipment safely.
• Inspect finished work to meet quality standards and customer specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Collaborate with production to meet project deadlines.

TIG Welder Fabricator

Location: Silverstone

Our client is looking for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join their growing team in Silverstone. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-precision fabrication projects, manufacturing components for Formula 1 teams and other high-performance engineering sectors.

We're looking for someone with strong TIG welding and fabrication experience who takes pride in producing precision work to the highest standards in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on a range of precision metal components and assemblies.
• Fabricate bespoke parts from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Assemble, tack, weld, and finish fabricated components to exacting standards.
• Use workshop machinery, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work closely with the production team to deliver projects on time.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a TIG Welder Fabricator within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Highly skilled in TIG welding, producing high-quality, precision welds.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong fabrication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, or other precision materials is advantageous.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Committed to producing work to the highest quality standards.
