Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Silverstone is seeking an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join their team. You will produce precision welds and fabrication work for high-precision components, including parts for Formula 1 projects, in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have strong TIG welding and fabrication skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings and work safely with stainless steel or aluminium.

Qualifications

• Experience as TIG Welder Fabricator in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Skilled in TIG welding producing precision welds.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with stainless steel or aluminium is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on a range of precision metal components and assemblies.
• Fabricate bespoke parts from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Assemble, tack, weld, and finish fabricated components to exacting standards.
• Use workshop machinery, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work closely with the production team to deliver projects on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on a range of precision metal components and assemblies.
