Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a keen and energetic problem-solver with a TIG welding background, ideally within the vacuum industry to join TSL as a new TIG Welder.

They will be driven to seek and implement improvements, and to develop their own skills while supporting the development of less experienced colleagues.

The successfulapplicantwill take on the following responsibilities:

  • Weld viewport assemblies and other TIG work.
  • Build the skills required to supervise the Hermetics Cell.
  • Learn the brazing and bonding processes conducted by the company.
  • Oversee leak-testing, bakeouts and RGA.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to address any quality issues and implement improvements in line with the company’s ISO9001:2015 accreditation.
  • Ensure that all activities in the Hermetics Cell comply with safety regulations and company policies, whilst maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other team members.
