Job Title: MIG / TIG Welder Fabricator
Location: Leicester
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 13:00
Occasional overtime available based on customer demand
Salary: ?16.00 to ?18.50 per hour

We are seeking an experienced MIG / TIG Welder to join our skilled fabrication team. The role involves precision welding and fabrication of stainless steel and mild steel components, working to technical drawings and high-quality standards. This position is ideal for an experienced welder who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys contributing to a professional, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components (1.5mm and upwards).
  • Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings accurately.
  • Ensure all work meets Health & Safety regulations and company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects within set deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-conscious workspace.
  • Support continuous improvement and uphold professional working practices.
Experience & Skills Required
  • Minimum 5 years of welding experience (references required).
  • Proven background in fabrication or engineering workshop environments.
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal work is advantageous.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems beneficial.
