You will monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts within a fast-paced SOC environment, gaining hands-on experience with modern tooling and support from experienced analysts.

This role offers a clear development path toward Tier 2 and beyond, with mentorship and exposure to real-world incidents from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC or security operations environment.
• Understanding of common cyber threats and attack techniques.
• Exposure to SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Basic networking and firewall knowledge.
• Willingness to learn Fortinet technologies.
• Ability to follow structured processes and elevate appropriately.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Triage and investigate first-line security events.
• Escalate complex or high-priority incidents to Tier 2.
• Follow established playbooks and processes for incident handling.
• Assist with initial containment actions under guidance.
• Document findings and maintain accurate incident records.
• Support senior analysts during live security events.
• Learn and contribute to detection and response improvements.
