Job summary

GM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join a Tier 1 construction project in Exeter. Start is immediate and hours are full-time, Monday-Friday. You will work on-site from drawings, coordinate with site management, and maintain a safe, tidy working environment on a busy site.

The ideal candidate holds proven carpentry experience on construction sites and a valid CSCS Carpenter card, with reliable teamwork and strong health & safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS Carpenter card.
• Relevant tools and PPE (large site tools will be on hire).
• Good understanding of construction site health & safety.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry work across a busy Tier 1 construction site.
• Working from drawings and site instructions.
• Working alongside other trades and site management.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and professional working environment.
• Following all site health & safety procedures.
