A leading water utility company is seeking a Tideway Coordinator in Greater London. The role includes providing safety-critical asset isolations for below-ground maintenance, managing health and safety, and coordinating project activities. Ideal candidates will have experience in planning, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach. The position offers an annual salary up to £45,000, along with substantial benefits including 26 days annual leave, performance-related pay, and a generous pension scheme.
The London Tideway Tunnel is a multi-billion-pound project designed to prevent storm sewage from discharging to the River Thames. The project will be soon commissioned and preparations for system acceptance are underway.
The role involves providing safety‑critical asset isolations to support below‑ground maintenance of the LTT. You’ll engage with key stakeholders to ensure activities are planned effectively and deliver infrastructure and process improvements to the sewage network, focusing on KPIs and customer experience.
This is a great opportunity to develop within Thames Water and gain new skills. Ideal candidates have experience in planning and managing activities; water industry experience is preferred but not essential. Transferable skills from construction, military, utilities, engineering, or planning are highly valued.
To manage specific activities within a designated area, including leading on briefed projects and providing support on larger scale projects. This role will incorporate some or all the accountabilities listed below.
Can be based out of Abbey Mills - Stratford - E15 2RN, Greenwich Storm - SE10 8JL or Hammersmith (PS) - W6 9RS. Travel will be required to all three sites.
36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, working weekends and nights as required.
